Skincare Tip for the Day

Yes, ladies and gents, it is winter time but that doesn’t mean that the sun can’t give off damaging sun rays. It is always important to wear a sunscreen everyday with at least 15 SPF. SPF stands for sun protection factor and it can have fabulous results. Maybe not today or tomorrow but down the road you will look younger because your skin won’t be as damaged as those sun bathers. The sun’s rays can give you wrinkles, dark spots, dry patches, and even skin cancer if you are exposed enough. It is best if you can find a moisturizer with a SPF already in it. That way, it is an easy way to incorporate it into your daily routine.

Listen up you snow bunnies out there because you are the most exposed during the winter, even if it is -10 below. While you are on the ski slopes, go for a higher SPF sunscreen. Why you ask? Well, the sun will reflect off of the white snow and increase the possibility of sun burn damage on your skin. So don’t be stingy with the SPF.
