Make-up Tip for the Day

Ok, so since it is winter time, you still want that natural sun kissed glow right? Well, whatever you do, do not step into that tanning bed. We just told you to protect your skin with an SPF but if you want to have a healthy glow, just use a bronzer. A bronzing powder should be used all over where the natural sun would hit your facial features. For example, apply bronzer on your nose, cheekbones, and brow bones.
It is best to avoid a bronzer that is orange toned or frosted because they won’t look natural. Many make-up companies offer a light, medium, and dark bronzer, so choose a couple according to the season and tint of your skin. Use the lighter one in the winter and a darker one in the summer.
When applying bronzer, use a short and fluffy brush. Lightly sweep on nose, cheekbones, brow bones, forehead, and a little on the neck to avoid that jaw bone make-up line. If you have dry and smooth skin, you could use a bronzing stick or cream. If you have oily skin, try not to use a bronzer because sometimes the bronzer may look like an unpleasant shade of orange. If you like a pop of color, you can just use a little pink blush on the apples of your cheeks. Good luck with finding your favorite hue and remember that less is always better when applying bronzers.
