Treat Athletes Foot…Naturally

Athlete’s foot (a.k.a. tinea pedis) is sometimes determined by these symptoms: Burning, itching, cracking of the skin between the toes and other places of the foot, patches of dry skin, and yellowish-brown toenails. Some of the root causes for someone to contract tinea pedis is a prolonged or frequent use of antibiotics(leads to depletion of good bacteria), Poor digestion, depressed immune system, high sugar diet, and poor hygiene (feet in damp environment-most common).

Nobody wants to get Athlete’s Foot but it is a common problem among skin conditions. Luckily it is something easy to treat. Below, we have provided a recommended organic treatment that is under a seven step system.

1. Apply tea tree oil daily for up to 8 weeks. Apply oil directly on clean and trimmed toenails.
2. Take 500mg of Oregano oil capsules 3 times a day with your meals. Oregano oil has powerful effects internally and externally.
3. Take 500mg of Garlic twice a day. Garlic helps to fight infections and boost immunity.
4. Take 200mg of Grapefruit seed extract 2 times daily. This extract has anti-fungal properties.
5. Caprylic Acid- Take 1000mg 3 times daily. This also has anti-fungal properties.
6. Echinacea- Take 500mg 3 times daily. This will enhance your immunity.
7. 30 minutes after your meals, take a probiotic product (yogurt) containing 4 billion active organisms to support healthy bacteria.

Other recommendations:

Expose feet to open air.
Use cotton socks and change them twice daily.
Wear waterproof sandals in any locker room or public shower.
Make sure your feet are washed with soap daily.

*Most cases can be treated at home. Complications may arise when infection sets in. If your Athlete’s Foot doesn’t improve with natural treatments or worsens- See a doctor right away for an evaluation!
